Instructions and Documents Required for Counseling

The following points must be known to candidates before attending counseling

1. Candidates are instructed to bring their original documents (issued by the competent authority), as mentioned in Annexure‑D( Share below)
2. Address for the counseling at the Office of Subordinate Services Selection Board, Van Bhawan, Sector‑68, Mohali, Punjab
3. Candidates are instructed to reach on their scheduled date and time as mentioned above.
4. In addition, candidates must submit self‑attested photocopies of the documents/certificates listed in Annexure‑D, arranged in order and tagged inside a cardboard file cover (Please note: Do not put it in a plastic folder).
5. The concerned candidates must also present the Counseling Proforma (Annexure‑A) share in the Official notification PDF below, the Self‑Declaration Form (Annexure‑B), and Annexure‑C, duly filled in all respects.
6. Candidates are required to fill these proformas at home and bring them along so that the counseling process can be completed quickly.
7. Candidates should note that the inclusion of a candidate’s name in the counseling list and their presence at counseling does not confer any right to appointment for the concerned post. Only after the candidate’s documents are found correct in all respects and their eligibility for the post is fully established will they be considered for selection.
8. The counseling list is not a selection list. While utmost care has been taken in preparing this list, the Board reserves the right to correct any error if noticed.
9. If any candidate has an objection regarding the counseling list, they may submit it at the Board’s office on any working day before the date of counseling. No objection raised after the counseling date will be entertained.
10. Candidates called for counseling will not be paid any TA/DA.
