PAU Recruitment 2026: Car/Jeep Operator Post on Contract Basis

Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana has announced recruitment for one post of Car/Jeep Operator on a contractual basis under the scheme “Facilitating effective functioning at PAU, Misc.8 (PC‑4715)”. The appointment is purely temporary and subject to termination at any time without prior notice.

• Salary: ₹15,414/- per month + ₹800/- additional allowance

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: 10+2 passed from a recognized board
• Driving License: Valid Car/Jeep Driving License issued by Govt. authority
• Language Requirement: Knowledge of Punjabi up to Matric level
• Age Limit: 18–37 years (relaxation as per Punjab Govt. rules)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in Car/Jeep driving

Selection Process

• Driving Skill Test: Mandatory for shortlisted candidates
• Reservation & Age Relaxation: Applicable as per Punjab Government policy

• Attested passport size photograph
• Attested copies of certificates/testimonials
• Demand Draft of ₹150/- in favour of COMPTROLLER, PAU, payable at Ludhiana
