The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has released the official notification for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET‑11) AIIMS NORCET-11. This examination is conducted for recruitment of Nursing Officers at Level‑07 in the Pay Matrix (pre‑revised Pay Band‑2: ₹9300–34800 with Grade Pay ₹4600, Group‑B) across AIIMS New Delhi and other participating AIIMS Institutes.

Eligibility Criteria of AIIMS NORCET

Essential Qualification

  • Option I
    • B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from INC/State Nursing Council recognized Institute/University OR
    • Post‑Certificate B.Sc. Nursing / Post‑Basic B.Sc. Nursing from INC/State Nursing Council recognized Institute/University
    • Must be registered as Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council
  • Option II
    • Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from INC/State Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board
    • Registered as Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council
    • Two years’ experience in a minimum 50‑bedded hospital after acquiring qualification

Note: Experience is valid only after completion of course, declaration of result, and registration with Nursing Council.

Age Limit

  • General eligibility: 18–30 years
  • Age relaxation as per Government rules:
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC: 3 years
    • PwBD: 10 years (up to 56 years max)
    • PwBD + OBC: 13 years
    • PwBD + SC/ST: 15 years
    • Ex‑Servicemen: Length of service + 3 years
    • Central Govt. Civilian Employees: 5–10 years depending on category

Application Fees

  • General/OBC: ₹3000
  • SC/ST/EWS: ₹2400 (refundable after exam upon certificate verification)
  • PwBD: Exempted

Payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking only. Fees once paid are non‑refundable (except SC/ST refund clause).

Application Process

  • Apply online only via www.aiimsexams.ac.in between 24 July – 13 August 2026.
  • No physical documents required. Keep a copy of application form and fee receipt.
  • Correction requests after deadline will not be entertained.
  • Eligibility is provisional until document verification.
  • Candidates must upload photo, signature, and thumb impression as per guidelines.

Choice & Preference

  • Qualified candidates will later submit preferences for participating AIIMS Institutes.
  • Failure to exercise choice within the given time will lead to cancellation of candidature.

Documents Required

At verification stage, candidates must produce:

  • Registration slip & admit card
  • Date of birth certificate
  • Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD)
  • Disability certificate (if applicable)
  • NOC (if employed in Govt/PSU/Autonomous body)
  • Educational qualification certificates
  • Nursing Council registration certificate
  • Experience certificate (if applicable)

PwBD Guidelines

  • Benchmark disability ≥40% eligible.
  • Facility of scribe and compensatory time (20 minutes per hour) available for blindness, cerebral palsy, and locomotor disability (both arms affected).
  • Other disabilities require medical certificate confirming limitation to write.
  • All PwBD candidates will be examined by a Medical Board of respective AIIMS.

Category Certificates

  • OBC‑NCL: Valid for FY 2026‑27, issued between 01 April – 13 August 2026.
  • EWS: Based on FY 2025‑26 income, issued between 01 April – 13 August 2026.
  • SC/ST: As per Ministry guidelines.
  • Certificates must be in Hindi/English, in prescribed Central Govt. format.

No Objection Certificate (NOC)

  • Mandatory for candidates employed in Govt/Semi‑Govt/PSUs/Autonomous bodies.
  • Contractual employees in Govt institutions also need NOC.
  • Failure to upload NOC by deadline = cancellation of candidature.

Experience Certificate

  • Must clearly mention:
    • Number of beds in hospital
    • Duration of employment (date, month, year)
    • Basic/consolidated pay
    • Nature of duties performed
