The Government of Haryana has proposed 26 posts for the recruitment of Senior Residents in Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Medical College, Chhainsa, Faridabad. The recruitment will be conducted only via walk‑in interview, with scrutiny and interviews scheduled for 30 December 2025.

Vacancy Details

Educational Qualification

• Must have an MBBS degree from a recognized university or institution approved by NMC/MCI.
• MD/MS/DNB in the relevant subject as per NMC/MCI guidelines.
• Valid registration certificate issued by NMC (formerly MCI) or Haryana State Medical Council.
• For Foreign Medical Graduates – Must have qualified the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) conducted by NMC or the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi.

Age Criteria

• Minimum Age: 22 years
• Maximum Age: 45 years
• Age Relaxation Applicable: As per Haryana Government norms (SC/ST/OBC/ESM etc)

Note: Both age and educational qualifications will be considered as of the closing date for submission of the application form, i.e., 30 December 2025.

Pay Scale

For the post of Senior Residents, which is on a yearly tenure basis (extendable up to a maximum of 3 years), the pay scale for each year has been predetermined by the Government to avoid any confusion.

• 1^st Year: ₹67,700 + NPA (20%) + DA as allowed by the Government from time to time.
• 2^nd Year: ₹69,700 + NPA (20%) + DA as allowed by the Government from time to time.
• 3^rd Year: ₹71,700 + NPA (20%) + DA as allowed by the Government from time to time.

Application Fee

For the post of Senior Residents, aspirants must pay a non‑refundable application fee of:

• ₹1000/- for the General Category
• ₹250/- for the Reserved Categories (Haryana domicile only)
• Mode of Payment: Candidates can be made fee via Demand Draft (DD) or Online.

Fee Concession: Women candidates (both General and Reserved categories) are eligible for a 50% concession in the application fee.

Exemptions: PH (Persons with Disabilities) and ESM (Ex‑Servicemen) candidates are fully exempted from paying the application fee.

How to Apply for the Senior Residents

To apply for the post of Senior Residents, candidates must download the application proforma from the official website or through the link provided below.

After downloading the proforma, candidates must fill in all required details accurately (e.g., Name, Category applied for) and attach the necessary supporting documents.

Once completed, candidates must pay the applicable application fee via Demand Draft (DD) or Online in favor of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Medical College, Chhainsa, Faridabad.

Other Terms and Conditions

Note:

1. The application proforma can be downloaded from the website www.sabvgmcfbd.edu.in.
2. The interview will be held in the office of the Director, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Medical College, Chhainsa, Faridabad. Candidates must bring all essential certificates/documents (matriculation certificate, MBBS/MD mark sheets, degree, experience certificate, registration, attempt certificates of MBBS and MD/MS, caste certificate, etc.) in original for verification at the time of interview.
3. The pre‑merit criteria followed for the selection of Senior Residents vide advertisement no. DMER/Rectt./2022/01 dated 14.03.2022 will be applicable.
4. Senior Residents will be governed by the rules of Pt. B. D. Sharma, UHS, Rohtak and DMER, Haryana, Panchkula, which are at par with the rules currently applicable to Senior Residents at Pt. B. D. Sharma PGIMS Rohtak.
5. The appointment is purely on a tenure basis, i.e., one year, extendable up to a maximum of three years, subject to satisfactory work and conduct reports on a yearly basis. However, services may be terminated immediately without prior notice if work and conduct are not found satisfactory.
6. Applicants currently pursuing MD/MS/DNB/M.Ch/PhD courses must discontinue their course before joining the post, if selected.
7. Experience will be considered only if obtained from an NMC‑recognized/permitted medical college.
8. Mere submission of the application and call for interview does not mean that the aspirant is eligible for the post applied for. Eligibility will be verified before the interview as per qualification, experience, and other terms and conditions given in the advertisement.
9. 4% of the posts are reserved for persons with disabilities (PH category). Candidates seeking reservation benefits must submit a disability certificate which is issued by a competent authority in the prescribed format as notified by the Government.
10. Applicants belonging to Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes, or other reserved categories applying against General Category posts must fulfill the eligibility conditions before applying (age, qualification, experience, application, etc.) applicable to General Category candidates.
11. Candidates belonging to BC‑A/BC‑B categories must submit their caste certificates as per Government of Haryana notifications issued from time to time.
12. Incomplete applications or those without self‑attested copies of educational certificates and other relevant documents will be rejected.
13. The number of posts may be increased or decreased based on actual requirements against sanctioned posts without prior notice.
14. In case of a shortage of Senior Residents and non‑availability of eligible candidates, those who have already completed one tenure of three years may be considered.
15. Applicants already in Government/Semi‑Government/Corporation/Autonomous Bodies must bring a fresh No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview; failing which, they will not be considered.
16. No individual interview letters will be sent, and no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Candidates are advised to regularly check the college website www.sabvgmcfbd.edu.in for updates.
17. All disputes pertaining to recruitment shall fall within the jurisdiction of Faridabad only.
18. The decision of the appointing authority in all matters relating to acceptance/rejection of applications, eligibility/suitability of applicants, and mode/criteria for selection will be final and binding for all candidates.
19. Any change in the category mentioned in the application form after the closing date/time of submission will not be allowed.
20. Incomplete applications or those received after the closing date/time will not be entertained. The Institute will not be responsible for postal delays or loss of applications, and the fee shall be forfeited.
21. The final decision regarding the selection/recruitment of candidates will be at the discretion of the Chairperson of the Selection Committee.
