- TRISHNA (Thermal Infra-Red Imaging Satellite for High-resolution Natural Resource Assessment) is a joint Earth observation mission developed collaboratively by India’s ISRO and the French space agency CNES. Planned for launch aboard India’s PSLV into a sun-synchronous orbit at an altitude of 761 kilometers with a 5-year design life. - Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi led a high-level state delegation at the Odisha Investors Meet – UAE 2026 in Dubai. - The One District One Cuisine (ODOC) scheme is designed to identify, document, and globally promote traditional culinary heritage and signature local food items across administrative districts. Demat 2.0 is a next-generation market infrastructure pilot testing the issuance, holding, trading, and settlement of corporate bonds using Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) and smart contracts. Integrates directly with the Reserve Bank of India’s wholesale Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC / e₹-W) via the Unified Market Interface (UMI), enabling instant atomic settlement (simultaneous transfer of funds and securities). The pilot successfully debuted with major issuances aggregating ₹1,025 crore by entities like REC Limited, Larsen & Toubro (L&T), and IIFL. The initiative does not create a new asset class; tokenized bonds retain the exact same ISIN, legal character, rights, and regulatory framework as conventional dematerialized bonds.
- HDFC Bank successfully secured complete legal relief after the High Civil Court of Bahrain dismissed all seven lawsuits filed against the lender by investors regarding Credit Suisse Additional Tier 1 (AT1) bonds.
