The framework combines NPS’s contributory structure with guaranteed, inflation-indexed retirement benefits for serving staff, new recruits, and eligible past retirees.

- ICC Chairman Jay Shah officially inaugurated the Tanzania Cricket Arena (TCA Arena) at the University of Dar es Salaam, marking the country’s first ICC-approved international cricket venue. Built with two international-standard ovals to serve as a national high-performance center, the facility will host its first major tournament—the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Challenge League B—from August 8–18, 2026. The milestone supports the ICC’s global expansion strategy by boosting grassroots training, player development, and cricket infrastructure across East Africa.

To mark the 2026 occasion, India’s Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change launched the Clouded Leopard Conservation Action Plan (CAP).
