- The Indian Navy has commissioned three indigenously built naval warships: INS Dunagiri, a stealth frigate; INS Sanshodhak, a Survey Vessel Large (SVL); and INS Agray, an Anti‑Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW‑SWC). These ships were built by the public‑sector shipbuilder Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) in Kolkata.
- Fifteen‑year‑old cricket sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi created another record in List A cricket history by completing his half‑century in just 11 balls — the fastest fifty ever in List A matches. This remarkable feat came in the final against Sri Lanka A during the tri‑nation series.
- Indian boxers shone at the 56th Grand Prix Usti nad Labem in the Czech Republic, winning a total of 12 medals.
- India’s top‑seeded squash pair, Abhay Singh and Velavan Senthilkumar, won their third consecutive men’s doubles title at the Asian Doubles Squash Championships in Sarawak, Malaysia.
