• Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) launched ‘Shruti’ (Yard 3037), the second of four Next Generation Offshore Patrol Vessels (NGOPVs) being constructed by GRSE in Kolkata as part of the Indian Navy’s 11-ship program (7 at Goa Shipyard Limited, 4 at GRSE). The 113-meter, 3,000-tonne indigenously designed vessel—named after the four Vedas—will bolster maritime surveillance, EEZ patrolling, HADR, and anti-piracy capabilities under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision.
• Following the successful maiden orbital flight of Vikram-1 on July 18, 2026, Hyderabad-based Skyroot Aerospace
  signed a Multi-Launch Agreement, with Kerala-based space technology startup HEX20 for three dedicated commercial launches starting in Q4 2027.
