The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) under the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEF&CC) has announced recruitment for 51 contractual posts under the Strengthening of Environmental Regulators (SER) – Phase III Project on River Ganga, funded by the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) under the Namami Gange Programme.

Eligibility & Experience

• Scientist‑D: Master’s in Environmental/Natural Science OR Bachelor’s in Engineering (Environmental/Chemical/Civil/Biotech).
  • Publications with Impact Factor ≥ 10 OR 5 Books/Reports.
  • Experience: 7 years in pollution control/environmental management.
• Scientist‑C: Similar qualifications, Impact Factor ≥ 7 OR 3 Books/Reports.
  • Experience: 5 years.
• Scientist‑B: Master’s/Engineering degree + Valid GATE (≥90 percentile) or NET‑JRF.
  • Experience: 3 years.
• Assistant Manager (Finance): M.Com/CA/MBA (Finance) + 8 years’ experience in accounting, taxation, payroll, Tally/QuickBooks.
• Administrative Assistant: Bachelor’s degree + 5 years’ admin experience in Govt./PSU.
  • Skill test in noting/drafting.
• Scientific Assistant: Master’s/Engineering degree + GATE/NET‑JRF.
• Taxonomist: M.Sc. (Botany/Zoology preferred, ≥75%) + GATE/NET‑JRF + publications.
• Data Entry Operator: B.Sc./BCA + Typing speed (Eng. 45 wpm, Hindi 35 wpm) + MS Office skills.
• Field Assistant: 10+2 (Science, ≥55%) + knowledge of water/wastewater sampling.
