This new Act will substitute the 70‑year‑old Nanded Sikh Gurdwara Sachkhand Sri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib Act, 1959, with the Takht Sachkhand Sri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib Gurdwara Act, thereby resetting the legal regime governing the Takht in Nanded.
- The Government of Punjab has announced that the state will set up four Artificial Intelligence (AI) universities to cater to the need and growth of Artificial Intelligence worldwide.
- The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar has been awarded Army projects worth ₹120 crore by the Army Technology Board (ATB) for the development of autonomous armoured vehicles and directed energy weapons for the Army.
